Symptom

  • After configuring a SOAP Receiver Adapter using the GET method in SAP PI/PO, no response was received from the target system.
  • The error message is similar to: "Exception caught by adapter framework: SOAP: Response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: soap version soap 1.2 is not compatible with Content type text/xml".
