3638511 - Video can't be loaded through iframe element in SmartEdit

Symptom

Videos embedded in iframes do not display correctly after editing HTML content source in SmartEdit.

  • By default SmartEdit automatically adds a 'sandbox=""' attribute to iframe elements, which cannot be removed or modified.
  • The script execution is blocked due to this sandbox attribute, resulting in the following error in the browser console
    "Blocked script execution in '' because the document's frame is sandboxed and the 'allow-scripts' permission is not set.".
