Symptom

  • The report /STTP/LOT_UPDATE fails to reassign a lot when the object is in logistics status 2 instead of status 1.
  • The system does not allow manual lot reassignment for items in logistics status 2.
  • The restriction prevents warehouse employees from assigning affected serial numbers to outbound deliveries.
  • Vendors send inconsistent batch data, such as mixed-case lot numbers (e.g., "u1234" and "U1234"), causing data inaccuracies.
  • The issue persists even when attempting to use the "Change Assigned Lot" option in the report.
