3638555 - Error: @sap/cds-mtxs 3 requires @sap/cds version 9 or higher during CAP project deployment

Symptom

  • When running the command "cds deploy --profile hybrid" to deploy a CAP project, the following error is encountered:
    Error: @sap/cds-mtxs 3 requires @sap/cds version 9 or higher. Current version: 8.9.5
  • Check the version by running "cds -v", it shows
    @sap/cds: 8.5.1
    @sap/cds-dk: 8.4.2
    @sap/cds-dk (global): 9.1.1
    @sap/cds-mtxs: 2.4.2
