3638604 - Offline edit job run successfully but data value not updated

The offline edit job ran successfully, but the executive review still shows the old data values.

• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Go to executive review -> template
2. Export file
3. Edit editable column including compRating column.
4. Go to monitor compensation job page, check the job status of offline edit job is successful.
5. Import the file
6. Refresh the page, the imported column is still the old value. No value update.

This issue occurs with below 2 scenarios:

1. If customer is importing new value of compRating with text value.
2. If the old value of compRating column is text value.

It is current system design that only numeric value is supported when importing the comp-ratings. Text type values are not supported when importing the comp-ratings.

There are a few possible solutions:

• Manually change the compRating column to numeric in the executive review through UI. Then you can import value through offline edit.
• Delete the comp-rating column and import the excel file and the issue would be resolved.
• If the request is to be able to import values to Comp Rating field, then a custom field will have to be created in EC to store the ratings. Once that is done, then a rating source needs to be added to the template with Form set as "none" and mapped to the custom field in EC. This way, once the forms are launched the values for the field will be numeric, allowing the offline edit.
