3638615 - Support for onChange Rule in Country Field Configuration on Work Permit Portlet Starting 2H2025

• We set Work Permit's Country field as picklist type.
• We create onChange rule for the Country field.
• However, the Country field does not change as expected according to the rule.

1. Configure the Work Permit's Country field as picklist data type in Manage Business Configuration.
2. Create a onChange rule under Document Title that specifies: if Document Title is '321', then change Country to 'China'.
3. Navigate to the PP3 UI, edit Work Permit, and change the Document Title to '321'. Observe that the Country field does not change to 'China' as per the rule.

• This behavior is expected before the 2511 release.
• The onChange rule does not support changes to the Country field when it is configured as picklist.

This is expected before 2511 as onChange rule doesn’t support country field change when it’s configured as picklist.

However starting from 2511 release, we will support onchange rule for country field change when country is configured as picklist.
