3638666 - Early repayment and accrued interest calculation for partial withdrawals

Symptom

For a financial transaction, when the repayment is received earlier than the end of term, the interest accrued till the repayment date needs to be received immediately:

  • Early repayment functionality required for partial withdrawals.
  • Accrued interest calculation not applied correctly for partial withdrawals with different interest rates.
  • System applies the same interest rate to multiple partial withdrawals despite differing requirements.

Example Structure for the transaction:

  1. No interest if withdrawal is within 7 days.
  2. If withdrawn after 22 days, interest is 4% on the withdrawn amount.
  3. If withdrawn after 23 days, interest is 4.25% on the withdrawn amount.
  4. For more than 23 days, interest is 5.25%.

All rates are applicable from the start date of the fixed deposit.
