3638684 - Silent Data Migrations running during technical downtime despite selection to skip in Software Update Manager (SUM)

Symptom

  • Silent Data Migrations (SDMIs) are running in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARRUN_SILENT_DATA_MIGR despite being selected to skip during downtime in phase PREP_CONFIGURATION/SUMASK_SDMI_DECISION while running a conversion to S/4HANA 2023 or skip level S/4HANA upgrades.

  • CHECKBOX to execute SDMIs in downtime is not selected as per below image.
