3638693 - Unable To Select Values In "Restricted Measure" Calculation in Sap Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Unable to select values in the restricted measure calculation within a multi-model story.
• When trying to edit 'Restricted Measure Calculation' in the 'Calculation Editor', The checklist of the "Values" does not open, no selection is made, and no error message is displayed.
• The issue is reproducible in the existing story but does not occur when creating a new story from scratch.
• The issue reappears when creating a new page in the existing story, saving changes, and refreshing the story.
• Error message in console logs:
  • "Uncaught (in promise) Error: [FailedAction - Action: store.createInstance@[{"app":"MAIN_APPLICATION"},{"story":"storyID"},{"memberSelectorDialog":"MemberSelectorDialog"}] - Error: Store.ChildActionFailed/Child action failed]"
  • "Cannot create [{"app":"MAIN_APPLICATION"},{"story":"storyID"},{"memberSelectorDialog":"MemberSelectorDialog"}], instance already exists."

SAP Analytics Cloud (2025.21)

1. Login to SAC system
2. Open the affected story and switch to 'Edit' mode.
3. Open the "Builder Panel" and then click on the table in the dashboard.
4. Under "Columns" (Measures) in the "Builder Panel" > Click on the menu (°°°) and select "Edit calculation".
5. From the list of calculations, select the data source (Model name)
6. Click on "Edit calculation" for the desired measure.
7. In the 'Calculation Editor' popup, check the "Dimensions" and attempt to select "Values".
   >> Observe that the Checklist values does not open, and no selection is made.

Product defect.

The fix is going to be deployed in QRC4 2025.
