3638781 - Prompt variants cannot be saved in SAP Analytics Cloud stories based on SAP Datasphere live models

When working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories that are based on live data models from SAP Datasphere:

• The option to save prompt variants (sets of prompt values) is not available.
• After reopening the story, prompt values need to be re-entered manually.

• SAP Analytics Cloud.
• SAP Datasphere Live model

1. Create or open an SAC story based on a live SAP Datasphere model.
2. Apply prompt filters and enter desired prompt values.
3. Attempt to save the current set of prompt values as a prompt variant.
   >> Notice that the option to save or reuse prompt variants is not available.

• Saving prompt variants is not supported when using live connections from SAP Analytics Cloud to SAP Datasphere.
• This is a limitation on the Datasphere side.
