3638833 - How to configure SAP SuccessFactors WorkZone as a Knowledge Base (KSA customers ONLY)

You are performing the migration steps from NEO to Cloud Foundry as part of the KSA migration and now you need to reconfigure your knowledge base configuration for ECSC.

In the below KBA we will provide you the steps you need to follow for such.

Note: This KBA is ONLY for customer who are part of the KBA migration.

Migration Steps

1. Create a SAML IDP in SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone.
   1. Log on to your SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone instance.
   2. Choose Profile > Administration Console.
   3. Choose Authentication & Authorization > SAML Trusted IDPs > Register your SAML Trusted IDP.
   4. Copy the Local Provider Name from the SAP Business Technology Platform Security > Connectivity> Destination Trust > generate an Active Trust Certificate --> Copy Assertion Entity ID and paste it in the IDP ID field.
   5. Copy the Signing Certificate from the SAP Business Technology Platform > Security >  Trust page and paste it in X509 Certificate (Base64) field.
      Note: If you refresh your SAP SuccessFactors extension, then you need to repeat step 5.
   6. Enter the Default Name ID Format: urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:unspecified.
   7. Select User attribute used for Name ID: SCIM externalid
   8. Choose Register.
2. Configure a destination for SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone as follows:
   1. Go to SAP BTP Cockpit > Subaccount of SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone
   2. Go to SAP BTP Cockpit > Connectivity > Destinations and filter Destination with Name "JAM" and download it.
   3. Go to SAP BTP Cockpit > Subaccount of ECSC >  Connectivity > Destinations > Import Destination and import "JAM" destination you download.
   4. Ensure you change the following details for the SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone destination in Destination Configuration:
      For the sap_workzone_odata destination.
      • Name: sap_workzone_odata (This is case-sensitive.)
      • Type: HTTP
      • URL: Copy custom domain URL (SAP Work Zone Administration Console Overview)
      • Proxy Type: Internet
      • Authentication: OAuth2SAMLBearerAssertion
      • Client Key: OAuth Client Key (Follow these steps to obtain the OAuth Client Key.)
        1. In your SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone instance, select Administration Console
        2. Choose External Integrations OAuth Clients Add OAuth Client
        3. In the Name field, enter SAP Business Technology Platform.
        4. In the Integration URL field, enter the Local Provider Name from the SAP Business Technology Platform Security Trust page.
        5. Choose Save.
        6. Choose OAuth Clients View.
        7. Copy the Key value.
      • Additional Properties:
        • nameIDFormat: urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:unspecified
        • TrustAll: true
      • Remove Additional Properties:
        • userIdSource: user_uuid
3. Choose Save.
