3638873 - Custom Validation hard violation not respected in the worksheet when filter is applied - Compensation

As a business admin you have setup validation on custom fields. Worksheets are launched using the custom fields. Planners want to filter few employees to allocate/adjust the data in the worksheet. Post the data adjustment in the worksheet while the filter is still effective planner is able to save the data and accordingly move the form to the next step/complete the review.

This leads to a problem where the users who are filtered are addressed on the custom validation problems and the users exempted from the filter, even though hard violations/errors present are skipped and sent to next step.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Open a compensation/variable pay form
2. Check that there are users with and without custom validation
3. Filter for the user(s) not violating the validation
4. Send form to next step -> form is routed even though there were users violating the custom validation
