Symptom

The Repository Sync process in IAG for SuccessFactors may fail and present an error message indicating that "userPrivilegeMap" is null. This error typically reflects a lack of access privileges for the SuccessFactors API User. Should this error occur, it suggests that proper API permissions for the SuccessFactors API user have not been configured correctly. 

Error message:

  • Job 'JobName' has errored out with the exception Cannot invoke "java.util.Map.size()" because "userPrivilegeMap" is null.
