3638949 - Is it possible to add more fields in document generation?

Symptom

  • The fields in the document generation UI need to be expanded when performing actions in employee profile.
  • You want to add some additional information and have some custom fields with free text option.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Employee Profile;
  2. Click on "Take Action."
  3. Select "Generate a Document."
  4. See the current fields of Document Generation.

Cause

This is currently not supported.

Resolution

It only be possible to change the labels in Manage Language, but the content/fields of document generation will not be possible, as this configuration is hard coded.
