3638981 - The Drag and Drop Functionality is no Longer Working for Attachments in the newer Version of Microsoft Outlook

You want to drag and drop a file onto an Attachment facet, such as Opportunities.

SAP Cloud for Customer

Open Microsoft Outlook and Open C4C System Parallelly.

1. Go to Sales work center (Older Version of Microsoft Outlook)
2. Select Opportunities view
3. Open Test Opportunity ID - 123
4. Select the Attachment facet
5. Drag and Drop an email from Outlook to the Attachment Facet
6. The Attachment is added and can be seen in the Facet

1. Go to Sales work center (Newer Version of Microsoft Outlook)
2. Select opportunities view
3. Open Test Opportunity ID - 123 
4. Select the Attachment facet
5. Drag and Drop an email from Outlook to the Attachment Facet
6. The Attachment is not added and cannot be seen in the Facet, nothing happens

The issue is not with our web application, but rather a change already implemented by Microsoft for security reasons. The latest version of Outlook no longer supports directly dragging and dropping email attachments into browser-based applications.

This is the expected behaviour implemented by Microsoft for security reasons and cannot be changed.
