When creating a Replication Flow on SAP Datasphere, within the ODP_BW context and trying to use ADSOs & BW Queries as source objects, below error is received:
"Getting Dataset Definition Failed for..."
This error does not come up consistently on all objects - only some objects encounter this error when added to a Replication Flow.
Environment
- SAP Datasphere
- SAP BW
Cause
The source object is not up-to-date on the source SAP BW system.
Resolution
Reactivate the offending BW object on the source system.
