3639029 - Storage Location Subtype for Scope Item 1ZQ - Third Party WMS

Unable to assign standard subtype storage location to 3rd Party WMS in scope item 1ZQ.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, it is not allowed to assign a standard subtype storage location to third party in scope item 1ZQ.

Standard type storage location (cloud based internal warehouse) cannot be used for third-party warehouse.

For 1ZQ scope item, the storage location must be created with one of the following subtypes:

• 3rd Party WMS
• 3rd Party WMS Production
• 3rd Party WMS Return. 

Refer to Set-up instructions guide for 1ZQ Scope item.

Additionally, please be aware that once a storage location is created, its subtype in organizational structure cannot be changed.
