Symptom

  • The error message indicated "SELECT permission denied on column" in the Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) database, specifically on the syssrvroles table in the master database.
  • The issue blocked the Database Migration Option (DMO) process.
  • Relevant error message: 1EETQ009X[ASE Error SQL10332] SELECT permission denied on column srid of object 1EETQ009Xsyssrvroles, database master, owner dbo.
