3639122 - Unable to migrate Cost Center Groups to Global Hierarchies after CE2508 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

After upgrading the test environment to release 2508, the following errors occur during the migration of Cost Center groups to Global Hierarchies: "Content file update failed" and "An exception was raised."

1. Attempt to migrate Cost Center groups to Global Hierarchies using the "Migrate Set-Based Groups to Global Hierarchies" app.
2. Observe the errors "Content file update failed" and "An exception was raised."

The issue is related to a new defect in the initial release (CE2508) of the functionality for migrating cost center groups to global hierarchies.

A hotfix is currently under development by the SAP development team to address this issue. The planned release date for the hotfix is August 18.
