When using SOAP API Warehouse Shipping Advice – Receive from Warehouse (B2B) to send a warehouse shipping advice message from 3PL system to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, an error will be encountered.

Environment

Cause

Sample payload: <HeaderGrossWeight unitCode="&">100.00</HeaderGrossWeight>
The unitCode of HeaderGrossWeight is & and there is no entry for & in SSCUI 102179 Check Units of Measurement.

Resolution

Modify the unitCode from & to any other unitCodes maintained in SSCUI 102179 Check Units of Measurement and retest.
