Symptom

  • User is prompted for two-factor authentication (2FA) when attempting to log in via the password login link.

  • 2FA has been disabled for the user in the SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) admin console.

  • User profile does not have 2FA enforcement configured.

  • Despite these settings, the system continues to require 2FA at login
