3639438 - Messages Routed to Incorrect Host After SLD Update in SAP PI Due to Persisted Old Endpoint

Symptom

  • After updating the System Landscape Directory (SLD) with the correct target URL, new messages are routed correctly. However, previously failed messages continue to be routed to the outdated host.
  • Message Monitor shows failures with errors similar to: "Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.net.UnknownHostException...".
