Symptom
Error "Output management service is not reachable" when clicking on View Summary in the Visit object.
Environment
- SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
- SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the Navigation menu.
- Select Visits view.
- Locate and open the desired Visit.
- Click on the three dots (More Options).
- Select View Summary.
- Observe that the error message is displayed.
Cause
This issue occurs because no rule is maintained for the Visit Form Template, which is required for generating the Summary output.
Resolution
Maintain and activate a Form Template rule for the Visit:
- Click on the User menu.
- Go to Settings > All Settings.
- Open "Select Form Template" under Output Management.
- Choose Visit entity.
- Click on Add Row.
- Configure the rule and activate it.
Once the rule is active, the View Summary option will function as expected.
