3639667 - Side-by-side custom scenario creation option unavailable in intelligent scenario app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • The side-by-side custom scenario creation option is not available in the Intelligent Scenarios app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
  • Only the "Embedded" option is available when attempting to create a new intelligent scenario

Environment

  • Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management (F4470)
  • Intelligent Scenario (F4469)
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition tenant via the Fiori interface.
  2. Open the "Intelligent Scenarios" app.
  3. Click the "Create" button.
  4. Observe that only the "Embedded" option is available for creating intelligent scenarios.

Cause

The creation of new side-by-side scenarios is not supported in the Intelligent Scenarios app for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
