Symptom

Taking too much of time for repricing high volume of projects while using the app 'Schedule Repricing for Projects'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app 'Schedule Repricing for Projects'.
  2. Schedule repricing job based on filters like service organization.

Cause

The performance issue is be due to the high volume of projects being processed in a single run.

Resolution

  • It is advised in these scenarios to split the job into multiple parallel runs to distribute the load.
  • For example, if there are many service organizations involved while repricing the projects. Schedule one job for service organizations ABC, XYZ and another job for the remaining service organizations.

Note: The repricing process is executed only for projects which are in execution and completed stages.
