3639875 - Outlook email client displays the default "From display name" instead of "Custom name" when using the 'SAP SMTP service' email setting

Symptom

  • When using the 'SAP SMTP service' email setting, the "From display name" is set to a custom value, but the emails are sent with the default display name "SAP Configure Price Quote", which is the default email SAP displayName. 
  • This behavior causes confusion among recipients such as partners and distributors.
