3639959 - Error “Object cannot be created in namespace” during SAP Note Implementation – Message TR007

When implementing an SAP Note the following error is encountered:

Object R3TR <Object Type> <Object Name> cannot be created in namespace </Namespace/>.

The detailed error is as below

Message No. TR007

Diagnosis

The object R3TR <object_type> <object_name> is assigned to the namespace <namespace_name> (or to a package of this namespace if the namespace cannot be derived directly from the object name)

The namespace <namespace_name> is developed in other systems so that objects of namespace <namespace_name> can only be repaired in this system, but not created again.

System Response

Creation of the object R3TR <Object Type> <Object Name>

as part of the namespace </Namespace/> is rejected.

Procedure

Transaction SE03 can be used to access namespace maintenance and to view the system-specific role of namespace </Namespace/>.

If the object is not originally intended for another namespace, it would have to be a namespace with the role "Producer" to be able to perform the action successfully.
