3640016 - "Refresh not possible. Source and target systems are scoped differently for Build Process Automation." Error When Performing a Tenant Refresh

You are trying to perform a tenant refresh, however the system raises the following error message:

"Refresh not possible. Source and target systems are scoped differently for Build Process Automation. Please adjust the scoping option in the source system and retry"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Control Center work center.
2. Enter the Systems view.
3. Select the system and Choose "Refresh System".
4. Set the refresh Downtime.
5. Click on the OK button.

In order to properly perform a tenant refresh, both involved tenants (source and target) must have the same scoping status for the iRPA feature.

In this case, one tenant has the feature scoped while the other does not.

In order to proceed with the refresh, it is required to either remove the iRPA feature from the tenant where it is activated, or enable it in the tenant where it is not active.
