3640565 - Display summary in quote not marked after deploying Quote Item Custom Field

• When transporting quote item custom field from one environment to another, display summary in quote toggle is not maintained.

SAP CPQ

1. Create a quote item custom field in the source environment (e.g., Dev)
2. Select the "Display summary in the quote" option for the custom field
3. Use the Send/Deploy feature to deploy the package to the target environment (e.g., QA)
4. Verify the custom field in the target environment
5. Observe that the "Display summary in the quote" option is not selected, even though it was selected in the source environment.

The "Display summary" functionality is supported only under the following conditions:

• The custom field type must be either "Number" or "Currency"
• The environment must use the old quote engine.

• If custom field is not number or currency, display summary in quote will not take effect
• If environment is using quote engine 2.0, display summary in quote will not take effect and therefore, not carried over.
