• Values from a live BW query display as blank unless a specific filter is applied.
• The issue occurs when a specific dimension which should be set to a filter in the widget.
• The issue is observed in RSRT as well when the authorization variable is removed.
• The problem is specific to users with BW roles and does not occur with developer permissions in BW.

1. Logon to SAC tenant. 
2. Open and view the specific story and view the results.
3. Observe that values are blank unless a filter on a dimension is added to the builder of the widget.

• The issue is related to an authorization variable defined in the BEx query design.
• The authorization variable is not set as a fixed filter in the query, causing blank values to display when no filter is applied.

1. Ensure that the authorization variable in the BEx query is defined in the "Characteristic Restrictions" section as a fixed filter.
