Symptom
One or more of the following behaviors is observed in Brazil Withholding Tax (IRF) scenarios:
- Withholding tax amounts accumulated in table WTAK are assigned to the calendar year (
WT_CALY) and monthly column (WT_BS01–WT_BS12,WT_WT01–WT_WT12) corresponding to the posting date, rather than the invoice date. Customers expect the invoice date to determine the accumulation period. - Documents whose invoice date falls outside the current reporting period are not selected through the expected branch of WHT fiscal reporting Calculation Views (e.g.,
NF_IMPOSTO_RETIDO), causing the configuration defined in table/TMF/D_WH_TAXGRPto not be applied and the tax amount to be retrieved from an incorrect field. - WHT tax amounts differ depending on whether the invoice date and posting date fall within the same accounting period.
