3640808 - Error "A referral was returned from the server." is displayed when connecting to the repository via the Proxy - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Connecting to the repository using an external (LDAP) user via the Proxy returns the error:
       Invalid repository user or password! (A referral was returned from the server.)
  • LDAP users successfully connect to the repository directly.
  • Local users successfully connect to the repository either directly or through the Proxy.
