3640900 - Removing Dependent From Benefit During Enrollment Process Does Not Remove Them From Benefit Enrollment Record

An employee has Dependents (e.g. Spouse, Child) who are eligible for one of their benefits. When they enroll in the benefit, or when they edit the enrollment information, they remove one of their Dependents from the benefit and save. This removal of the Dependent reflects everywhere (Benefit Confirmation Statement, Coverage, etc.) but still shows on the 'Benefit Enrollment' record in 'Benefits Admin Overview' or 'Manage Data', even on the record which is added to reflect the enrollment / edit of enrollment.

1. Log into environment
2. Proxy as employee who is enrolling in the benefit / editing the enrollment
3. Go through the enrollment process and remove one of the eligible Dependents from the benefit
4. Complete the process
5. See the Dependent is removed from areas such as the Benefit Confirmation Statement and Coverage details
6. Go to 'Benefits Admin Overview' > 'Benefit Enrollment' or 'Manage Data' > 'Benefit Enrollment', and look for the enrollment record for the employee for the enrolled benefit
7. See the Dependent still shows on the Benefit Enrollment record when they should have been removed

This is a known issue which is being investigated by our Engineers.

This is a known issue which is being investigated by our Engineers, and should be resolved with BEN-19882 in 2511. This fix will only work for enrollments created after the 2511 release.

In the meantime, and for existing Benefit Enrollment records having the issue, the record will need to be manually edited to remove the Dependent.
