3640950 - Error when creating a Supplier Invoice with web service: "Party of role responsible employee missing".

Error "Party of role responsible employee missing" occurs when creating a Supplier Invoice via "ManageSupplierInvoiceIn" and the invoice is not created.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Select ManageSupplierInvoiceIn web service.
2. Create a Supplier Invoice.
3. The system returns the error:

<Note>Party of role responsible employee missing</Note>

No "Employee Responsible for Supplier Invoice" is maintained under Employee Work Distribution.

1. Go to Organizational Management Work center.
2. Go to Employee Work Distribution View.
3. Select Work Category "Employee Responsible for Supplier Invoice".
4. Maintain one employee and Select Save.

After this is completed, the error message will no longer appear in the response payload, and the Supplier Invoice will be created successfully.
