3641024 - External Id of Customer Is Not Updated On SAP CPQ Quote When Created From Opportunity

Symptom

  • External ID of customer is not being transferred from SAP Sales Cloud (C4C) opportunity to SAP CPQ during the external sales quote process.
  • The sales quote is created successfully in CPQ, but the default external ID of the customer is missing in the payload.
  • CPQ only receives the Sales Cloud internal account ID instead of the default external customer ID, which leads to missing customer information in CPQ.
