3641025 - Ability to control visibility to rejected records in end-user data upload and data load jobs in model since SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2025 QRC3 update

Symptom

  • Administrators are now able to manage access to the rejection summary in models with row level security, either via data access control or the Model Data Privacy setting since SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2025 QRC3 update

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14

Resolution

  • New setting in the access and privacy section of the model preferences to “Restrict Access to Rejection Summary”. When enabled, and where DAC (or Model Data Privacy) are enforced:
    • Only the model owner and users with full model access can see and download all rejected records for all load jobs.
    • Individual users (with maintained access to the mode) can only access rejected records for the load jobs they have triggered.
  • This toggle will be disabled by default in existing models.
  • Using this setting, administrators can fine-tune the model security and ensure that users with read-only access can't access the file.
  • For detailed information, please refer to road map Data Upload: control visibility to rejected records in end-user data upload and data load jobs and help document Understanding the Rejection Summary as well as Restrict Access to Rejection Summary.
