• Linked analysis does not filter the target table based on the restrictions applied in the source table's dimension in SAC.
• The target table displays all values of dimensions instead of applying the restricted calculation from the source table.

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2025.8.13

1. login to SAC tenant
2. Create a story with two tables.
3. Set up Linked Analysis with data point filtering between the source and target tables.
4. Apply a restricted calculation to the structure dimension in the source table
5. Click on a data point in the source table.

Notice:  The target table does not filter based on the restrictions applied in the source table.

This is by design behavior of the product.

Linked Analysis in SAP Analytics Cloud is primarily intended for filtering purposes, and any calculation restrictions applied in the source table are not automatically carried over to the target table.
