3641106 - Standard Field not Available in Personalization mode

Symptom

When trying to enable a field through Personalization mode, the specific field is not available.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select the work center ABC.
  2. Select the View XYZ.
  3. Choose the profile icon on the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Choose "Start Personalization Mode".
  5. In the Personalization window, cannot find the specific field.

Cause

The specific field is disabled through adaptation mode.

Resolution

  1. Select the work center ABC.
  2. Select the View XYZ.
  3. Choose the profile icon on the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Select "Key user settings" and choose "Start Adaptation Mode.
  5. Enable the field of your choice and choose "Publish".
  6. After doing so, the specific field can be enabled through Personalization mode.
