Symptom

Not able to import a page into another story after it has been imported to one story in SAC.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8.17

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  2. Open a story (Story B) that contains a page imported from another story (Story A).
  3. Create the new story 
  4. On the page tab bar, click > Import Story Pages.
  5. In the Add Story dialog, search for and select Story B (the one with the imported page).
  6. Try to select the page that was imported into Story B.

Notice: The desired pages are not visible in the import selection list.

Cause

This is by design behavior of the product.

Resolution

You can only import page created in a story. If a page is imported into a story, it cannot be later imported to another story. Please import a page directly from the original story.
