3641185 - How to Configure Income Tax Declaration Infotypes with BIB Mapping

This document provides details how to investigate existing IT Declaration BIB Mapping or how to set up from scratch. These Infotypes are configured differently in BIB Field Mapping, compared to almost all other Infotypes.

As of PA_SE_IN (SAPK-10041INPASEIN) & ECS4HCM (SAPK-10007INECS4HCM) Release 2605 the automated report ECPAO_ITD_TTG_TEMPL_GENERATOR has been delivered for which generates the transformation templates required for replication of Indian Income Tax Declaration. Please refer to the documentation in the SAP ERP HCM system, for more information. Further to this, these releases have also included support for replication to IT0584 ST 1&2 and IT0588.

As of PA_SE_IN (SAPK-10041INPASEIN) & ECS4HCM (SAPK-10007INECS4HCM) Release 2605, the following two IT Declaration Infotypes are supported for BIB Replication. Note that they are not covered in the manual mapping below, as they are created automatically, via the automated report - for applicable systems:

  • Subtype 1: House Property
  • Subtype 2: Other Sources
• IT0588 - Other Statutory Deductions

All other IT Declaration Infotypes are supported through Mashup only.

It's important to note that all Infotype Data comes through the same EC Entity <ITDeclaration>. All data is processed together but through the below Mapping and Generic Value Conversion Rules, they are separated into their expected Infotypes.

Due to some restriction the standard Value Mapping Entities, the referenced Value Mapping Entities are only available for new customers. Existing customers should create these Value Mapping Entities and details for these Value Mapping Entities manually, with assistance from the tables below. EC Entity: WS_HRA_581

The EC field investment type is mapped to two different ERP target fields ACCOM and METRO (HRA type and Location category). To support this, you should create two transformation templates by mapping investment type as ACCOM in the first template and METRO in the second template. You will notice practically no difference between the two templates, except for the Generic Value Conversion and Value Mapping Entities so it's recommended that one template is configured then copied.

EC Entity: WS_80_585

Similar to IT0581, there are two entries for this Infotype - except they are named Actual and Proposal. This Infotype data is validated against table T7NII8 for Subsection and Division. To achieve this, the data is processed through two templates per entry (meaning you need to configure four in total). For all 4 templates, you use the Infotype Repetitive Field (instead of Infotype Field) for Amount and Investment Type. It's advised to configure one entry in full, and then copy the two configured templates - for the other entry.
