An uneven tablespace distribution can cause long running backup and restore runtimes, and contention of prefetching since there is only one prefetcher per container. The current tablespace distribution is considered suboptimal, since the largest tablespaces hold a significant amount of data.
Therefore SAP recommends a deeper database analysis e.g. via Technical Performance Optimization Service (TPO) to analyse the impact on the system and to give specific recommendations.
