3641215 - Email notification set in Maintain Email Templates app is not working as expected

In “Maintain Email Templates” app, email notification for verification workflow has been set up. However when the journal entry is rejected, submitter doesn't receive email as expected.

In “Manage Workflows for Journal Entry Verification - In General Ledger” app, click into the related step (such as step 1 with Step Type: Verify General Journal Entry).

See below screenshot. Consider making below two changes. Change “required action” to “do nothing”. Change “action result” to “cancel workflow”.

Please be informed that you are fully responsible for the changes you make on your system. Any changes should be thoroughly tested on your test system prior to implementation on production to ensure no negative impact.

After the change, emails will be sent when the workflow is completed.
