3641228 - Cleanup of PI message tables SXMSCLUP and SXMSCLUR

Symptom

  • Using Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) as a central Integration Server (Dual Stack or Dual Usage) or a local Integration Engine in an ABAP application system which sends/receives messages.
  • The tables SXMSCLUP and SXMSCLUR are occupying a large amount of space. 
  • Even after scheduling a job for deletion of messages, the messages are not deleted and the tables keep growing.
