3641311 - DB6: Check points for connection refused error during connection

Symptom

  • Unable to start the Java system.

  • JDBC connection log (JdbcCon.log) gives following error:
    "Error opening socket to server sapabc0db/10.000.11.22 on port 1234 with message: error 111 - Connection refused (Connection refused)
     (local port 20400 to address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0, remote port 1234 to address 10.000.11.22 (sapdbc0db.abc.com))."
