3641607 - Error "java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" occurs while connecting to SFTP server

Symptom

  • The following error message occurs while executing iFlow connecting to SFTP server:

    org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot connect to sap-sftp://<host name>@<IP address>:22, cause: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset 

  • Multiple iFlows using the same SFTP server.
  • SFTP iFlows are typically executed in parallel.
