3641796 - Unable to delete Brand in CSB - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

A brand is not being deleted when clicking the Delete button in Career Site Builder > Tools > Brand Management.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Career Site Builder (CSB).
  2. Go to Tools > Brand Management.
  3. Select the brand to be deleted and click the Delete button. You will see that a warning message will be displayed beside the Delete button.
  4. Save the changes and you will see the brand was not deleted.
  5. Close and reopen Career Site Builder.
  6. Navigate back to Tools > Brand Management and observe that the brand is still visible.

Cause

A possible cause could be the presence of duplicate entries for the brand in the Admin Center > Manage Data > Marketing Brand. These duplicate entries prevent the deletion process from completing successfully.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Admin Center in SAP SuccessFactors.
  2. Go to Manage Data > Marketing Brand.
  3. Identify the duplicate entries for the brand in question.
  4. For each duplicate entry:
    1. Click the "Take Correction" button.
    2. Select "Permanently Delete Entry" to remove the entry.
  5. Once all duplicate entries are deleted, return to Career Site Builder.
  6. Navigate to Tools > Brand Management.
  7. Attempt to delete the brand again by clicking the Delete button and saving the changes.
