3641865 - Some rows can not be cleared completely during the data transformation process in one specific import job in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Rows containing null value and specific date can not be deleted completely during the data transformation process in the specific import job in specific model in SAC

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8.17

1. Log onto SAC
2. Open the problematic model 
3. Navigate to the Data Management workspace 
4. Select the specific import job based on import data connection to JDBC and choose Edit-> Query
5. Without making any changes to the SQL statement and click on the button "Review Import" at the bottom
6. On the following "Prepare Data" page, navigate to and click on the Date column and open the Transform Log
7. Create data transformations "Delete all rows with "null" in Date Dimension"
8. Navigate to the "Review Import" page
   => Observe that there is still Dimension Restrictions indicating that there are rows with Null value in this date dimension

When adding filters to date columns in a data import job transformation, it is necessary to filter them using their original value, not the final result in the HANA database. 

1. Remove the existing transformation in this import job.
2. In data source of this import job, find out the original values that are required to be replaced.
3. In SAC import job transformation, replace this original values with the desired value.
4. Run this import job again.
