Symptom
When attempting to delete an employee time sheet, the error “No time profile is assigned to job information” occurs, preventing the deletion process. ''Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.''
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
- SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to manage data > employee time sheet.
- Attempt to delete an employee time sheet.
- The system displays the error: “No time profile is assigned to job information.”
Cause
The hire date in the employee’s job information is later than the start date of the affected timesheet. For example, the hire date is June 1, 2025, while the timesheet start date is March 1, 2025.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, please choose one of the following steps:
A) Temporarily change the employee’s hire date to a date earlier than the employee time sheet 's start date in order to perform the deletion. For details on how to change an employee’s hire date, please refer to KBA 2636395.
B) Alternatively, modify the time sheet start date in Manage Data so that it falls after the employee’s hire date, then proceed with the deletion.
Note: It is generally not recommended to delete employee time sheet directly from manage data, as this will cause data inconsistencies. For guidance on deleting attendance in most cases, please refer to KBA 3532916.
