3642218 - change current number button not visible in business partner configuration

Button "Change Current Number" is not visible in the business configuration screen for maintaining business partner number ranges.

The button is set as visible in adaptation mode but does not appear in the UI.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Open Business Configuration > Overview.
2. Search for "General Business Partner" and open the activity.
3. Select "Define Number Ranges for Business Partners" view.
4. Open adaptation mode and right-click on the interval pane.
5. Drill down to Pane Variant > Toolbar > Change Current Number button.
6. Observe that the button is set as visible in adaptation mode but does not appear in the UI.

Changes to the current number range for business partners are not allowed by design. This restriction prevents the "Change Current Number" button from being visible in the UI, even via adaptation mode.

The "Change Current Number" button cannot be made visible for business partners due to design constraints. Note that this option cannot be completely hidden from adaptation mode because it is used across different business objects, and altering it may negatively impact other objects.

If a change to this standard behavior is required, submit an enhancement request via the Influence forum.
