Symptom

  • IDOC fails with the error message "shipment already exists" (Message No. VW090).
  • The error occurs when reprocessing the SHPMNT05 IDOC using the standard program RBDMANI2.
  • The error is triggered in the SAP function module SD_SHIPMENT_NUMBER_CHECK.
